Leeds to Liverpool Canal...

Since the introduction to Leeds walk, in the first year of college; I have long been interested in the Leeds to Liverpool Canal; I found it a great place of sanctuary in the busy city life; Something that I am not used to having to go out and look for; as I lived with a bridal path beside my house, a farm next door, woodland nearby and living at the foot of the cleveland hills.
I realize now, how very lucky I was as a child to have these things; However the Canal, having walked up and down it various times when I am feeling a little homesick; offers a great variety in landscape, some very dramatic contrasts infact.
Starting with the cityscape, luxury skyscrapers, the view then changes to industry, then woodland, again industry, parks, open farmland, suburban etc; The place has a great deal to offer visually...

My Bedroom...

From my Mum, I have inherited many characteristics; one which can be very annoying to my minimalist Step-Dad is that we are both, at times hoarders. We both, for some reason collect things that to others would seem obscure; an example once being that my Mum once had a collection of children's bed-sheets that had started when I was younger but progressed once my siblings had been born.
Having lived in one house for 18 years; My mother had all sorts of wonderful collections, however having moved FOUR times in the last 6 years; My mothers collections have sadly slipped away gradually.
I on the other hand (including my family moves) have moved NINE times in the same time period; however my collections have not much dwindled and very much grown, and so I thought I would look at some more collections in my room...
